As Patrushev recalled, Kyiv, against the background of the failures of the Ukrainian army at the front and the reduction of assistance from the West, is trying to destabilize the situation in Russia by striking purely at civilian targets, as was the case in Belgorod, Donetsk and Lisichansk.
“I would like to note that, despite the attempts being made to intimidate the population of Russia with terrorist attacks and shelling of our territory, the goals of the special military operation set by the President of Russia ... will be fulfilled,” he said.
Earlier, Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko emphasized that no factors will affect Russia’s determination to consistently implement the goals of the special military operation.
