The “World Health” adopts an Emirati draft resolution to enhance the quality of healthy life

The World Health Assembly unanimously adopted a draft resolution on the quality of healthy life, submitted by the United Arab Emirates last May, which was approved by all participating delegations from all WHO regions.

The draft resolution is the first in the history of the Assembly.

The participating countries congratulated the UAE on the success of the resolution, and on its leadership in preparing and discussing it to reach a consensual formula.

Al Owais pointed out that "the distinguished presence and the prestigious international position that the UAE has reached, comes within the framework of the wise leadership's keenness to work on leading global efforts towards creating a better future for humanity, as a global partner in international initiatives and strategies, which represents the outcome of the state's vision since the establishment of the Union, and established Its pillars, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, focus on the value of the human being and the quality of his life in the UAE and the world, and on the same approach our leadership is going today, to establish an innovative health sector that keeps pace with the radical changes targeted by the state to shape the future, in a story new success;

Her journey towards the next fifty years begins with a determination that does not know the impossible.”

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, Dr. Muhammad Salim Al Olama, stressed that "this achievement enhances the soft power of the UAE."

In turn, the Assistant Undersecretary for the Public Health Sector, Dr. Hussein Abdul Rahman Al Rand, affirmed that the decision is a qualitative addition to the state's efforts in improving the quality of healthy life at the local, regional and international levels.

He added, "The UAE attaches great importance to the happiness of individuals and society, and considers this one of its priorities, and is keen to provide prosperity, well-being and stability to its people and residents on its land."
