Just before 18.00 an alarm was received, when a person was found seriously injured at Morö Backe in Skellefteå.
The police have cordoned off the site and are awaiting a technical investigation.
Right now, witness interviews are being held with people who may have heard or seen something.
- This is being investigated as an attempted murder at the moment and it is an ongoing effort, says Ann-Christin Johnsen at the police's regional command center.
