The police have not yet been able to hear the girl because she is still being cared for for her injuries, but on Saturday a police interrogation was held with the boy where he is said to have made some concessions.
As the case concerns children, the secrecy is particularly strict and the police do not currently want to comment on what the boy has said.
Since the suspected boy is not a criminal, he has not been detained by the police, instead it is a case for the municipality and the social services.
- In the social services, you can take care of this boy if you think it is needed and then there are different types of placements - where a closed institution is the first thing you think of, says Michael Tärnfalk.
According to the prosecutor's office, the social services have so-called reassuring supervision of the boy, but if he has been taken into care, they do not want to comment at the moment.
