Kiel (dpa / lno) - The number of daily new infections with the corona virus has increased again in Schleswig-Holstein.
On Tuesday, 247 new cases were reported, according to data from the Ministry of Health in Kiel (data status: 9 March).
On Monday there were 97 new infections, on Tuesday last week 187. The number of people who died in connection with Covid-19 is now 1,350 - that's 10 more than on Monday.
The seven-day incidence also rose slightly and reached 46.2 infections per 100,000 inhabitants.
The previous day the value was 45.3.
As of Tuesday, 208 patients were treated in Schleswig-Holstein's hospitals.
Intensive care treatment needed 61 people, 40 of them with ventilation.
It is estimated that 39,900 people have now recovered.
