The register will include information on the number of federal and regional beneficiaries, their diagnosis and category of diseases, as well as the provision of medicines.
"The single list will allow to plan purchases in time and track the balances of medicines, and most importantly, to control that all beneficiaries receive the necessary drugs in full," the message says.
It is assumed that it will also become easier for citizens who have changed their place of residence to confirm their right to receive state support.
The database will be updated on an ongoing basis under the supervision of the Ministry of Health.
In July, the State Duma adopted in the third reading a bill on the creation of a federal register of beneficiaries who are entitled to free medicines.
