As Mishustin said at a government meeting, the SEZ regime is currently operating in four new regions.

“At the same time, neighboring regions, of course, also need additional support,” TASS quotes him as saying.

According to the prime minister, the Cabinet of Ministers will consider two bills expanding the SEZ to at least three regions. The authorities will have to make appropriate adjustments to the Tax Code and the legislation on SEZs.

Earlier, Mishustin signed a decree on the creation of three special economic zones in Mordovia, Rostov and Tver regions.
