“Mikhail Mishustin congratulated Olzhas Bektenov on his appointment as head of the government of Kazakhstan. During the conversation, the heads of government emphasized the importance of the progressive development of Russian-Kazakh trade and economic cooperation and strengthening integration interaction in the Eurasian Economic Union,” the statement says.
The heads of government of the two countries confirmed their readiness to actively work together on all topical issues.
Earlier, Bektenov was appointed to the post of Prime Minister of the country by decree of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
