Everyone was advancing in dispersed order in Bastia for these municipal elections, in particular the left and the regionalists. This is reflected in the results of the first round, which fell on Sunday evening. Pierre Savelli, outgoing regionalist mayor, who presented the "Bastia Piu forte inseme" list, came out on top with 30.43% of the vote. Behind him, three left-wing candidates are scrambling: Jean-Sébastien de Casalta (20.02%), far ahead of Jean Zuccarelli (13.83%) and Julien Morganti (12.42%).
