The man was found in the afternoon at an address in central Sjöbo and was taken by ambulance to hospital. The hospital was found to have life-threatening injuries. The police currently do not want to go into what kind of injuries the man has.
"We are classifying the incident as serious abuse at present, but that may change in the future," said police spokesman Rickard Lundqvist.
The police are at the scene and are conducting a series of investigative measures. The area is closed off and the police are conducting interrogations.
Three people have been arrested.
