It is specified that the accident occurred near the village of Vysokogorsk, Kavalerovsky district.
The driver and ambulance doctor were injured in the emergency.
“At the time of the accident, the patient was not in the car; the team was returning to the base after being called,” the department said.
As the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said, the 53-year-old driver of a Honda CR-V, while driving from Kavalerovo in the direction of Rudnaya Pristan, drove into oncoming traffic, where he collided with an ambulance.
The driver of the Honda suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Previously, a regular bus traveling from Saratov to Perelub had an accident in the Marksovsky district of the Saratov region.
