Commenting on the possibility of resuming direct gas supplies to Ukraine, the political scientist noted that someday this will happen, but so far there is no hope for a quick solution to the problem.
“So far, the leadership of Naftogaz has become a pain in the whole process ... Nevertheless, I would like to hope that the European partners are fed up with this circus and that they can influence Ukraine, despite the fact that, of course, the most serious influence on the Ukrainian the United States continues to provide leadership, ”he concluded.
Earlier, the party Poroshenko urged not to allow direct gas supplies from Russia, calling it a threat to the country's national security.
In “European Solidarity”, in particular, they demanded an investigation into the head of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine Alexey Orzhel, who stated the need to conclude a new gas supply contract with Gazprom.
