This was stated by the head of the department for organizing the reception of citizens of the State Bureau of Investigation, Oksana Zgiblova, reports the Glavkom publication.
According to her, Poroshenko’s defense has now gained access to the materials of the pre-trial investigation. After familiarization, the SBI must send the indictment against Poroshenko to the court.
“After this, his status changes, he becomes an accused,” the publication says.
Earlier, Poroshenko filed a lawsuit against the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada and border guards for not allowing him to go on a business trip abroad.
