Shortly after 7 pm on Monday evening, a couple was hit by a passenger car at the junction Nobelvägen / Sallerupsvägen at Värnhem in Malmö. A police patrol waiting at a traffic light was quickly in place. Patrik Fors is a press officer at the police command center.
- The police car blocked off the scene directly and emergency services and ambulances were quickly in place. The affected persons were taken to hospitals and according to the Skåne region, the woman, who is in her 20s, has serious injuries, says Patrik Fors.
The car that caused the accident was recovered and the driver was taken to the police house for questioning. Police are calling for people who have seen the accident.
