The polemics swell on the third day of Volodymyr Zelenskiy's presidency in Ukraine. After his inauguration in color on Monday, where he announced the beginning of a new era and the dissolution of Parliament, he named close friends to positions of responsibility. A form of nepotism, much criticized in Ukraine. And the controversy does not stop there.

Comments on Volodymyr Zelenskiy's first mistakes are well under way. On the appointments of his friends in positions of responsibility, on the lawyer of a sulfur oligarch who becomes the head of his cabinet, but also on a first proposal put forward by the team.

It would be a question of organizing a referendum on a peace treaty with Russia. What would be the question? What would be the details of this treaty? What would be the necessary compromises vis-à-vis Vladimir Putin? The mystery remains, and maintains the speculations.

The first days of the Zelenskiy presidency are therefore held in a political cacophony maintained at all levels, both by the errors of the new team, but also by the resistance of the old system.

Volodymyr Zelenskiy failed to change the electoral law in Parliament. This is a first defeat in his balance of power with the parties. But this does not affect President Zelenskiy's state of grace. On the contrary, his party was credited with 40% of voting intentions in early elections a week ago. A recent survey puts it at 43%.
