Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his condolences in connection with the crash of the IL-20.
According to the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the IL-20 was shot down by Syria's air defense because of the fact that the Israeli pilots covered themselves with a Russian airplane.
In the army of Israel, commenting on what happened, noted that the blame for the collapse lies on Damascus, Iran and Hezbollah.
