Höganäs municipality has requested that the artist's three works on Kullaberg be protected as architectural monuments - but this has not been possible before because the artworks have not had a clear owner.
Previously, there was uncertainty about whether the artist Christo or whether Lars Vilks owns Arx.
Christo also owned Nimis, but after his death in 2020, the son clarified that he has no claim to the site-specific artwork.
However, Lars Vilks has always been the owner of Ladonien.
Now the works are transferred to the foundation for Lars Vilk's memorial fund.
