According to Lars Westberg, the residents of Övik in the affected areas have helped a lot by saving water and giving room for manoeuvre to work on the leak.
"Based on what could have happened with a main water pipeline that affects 35,000 citizens with water, I think this has gone very well," says Lars Westberg.
On Matildavägen in Myckling, the work remains to repair the last leak, which is expected to be repaired at 18 p.m. on Friday.
Why should you still boil the water?
On Friday morning, boiling water is still in effect. According to Miva, it is a safety precaution and routine to boil water after this type of intervention on pipes.
"The water flow has not been as normal, but it has been slow to and fro. Then they will be flushed and samples will be taken of the water that goes out," says Lars Westberg.
