Karlstad-based gaming company Embracer has four subsidiaries in Russia. According to P4 Värmland, which has produced data from Russian tax authorities, the company had sales of SEK 350 million last year and employed almost 900 people in Russia.

"It is reasonable to consider discontinuing operations in Russia," says Carl Heath, who has conducted research in the areas of disinformation, propaganda and online hate.

Does not allow himself to be interviewed

SVT Nyheter Värmland has been in contact with Lars Wingefors who has chosen not to participate in an interview but sent a written answer to our questions. In it, he states that the companies in Russia conduct development work for operations in other countries, which gives limited income tax to the Russian state.

In the video above, Carl Heath explains why Lars Wingefors should take Embracer out of Russia.
