The consumer goods group Henkel and the head of the adhesives division Jan-Dirk Auris go their separate ways.

It had been agreed not to extend Auris' contract, which expires at the end of 2023, Henkel said early Friday evening.

After more than three decades at Henkel, the manager will support the transfer of responsibility to his successor until his mandate expires.

According to the "Handelsblatt", however, there was a power struggle between Henkel boss Carsten Knobel.

With Auris, Henkel loses an important manager who drove the adhesives business forward.

It has recently developed strongly.

The overall growth of the Henkel Group in the third quarter was solely price-driven, the volumes sold fell primarily in the consumer goods sector, while volumes in the adhesives division developed slightly positively.
