Yesterday, the Dubai Multi Commodities Center announced a doubled growth in the number of Chinese companies registered in the center's free zone during the past five years, explaining that it includes 703 Chinese companies, representing about 12% of the total number of Chinese companies active in the UAE.

The center indicated in a statement yesterday that this growth was supported by strong diplomatic relations and solid economic partnerships between the UAE and China.

Ahmed bin Sulayem, CEO and CEO of DMCC, said: "There are currently more than 6000 Chinese companies in the UAE, and DMCC is proud to host 12% of the total number of these companies."
