He added: "The UAE has many competitive advantages to enhance the ease of doing business and reduce its cost for the benefit of all. Through its role as a regulator for the sector, the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology aims to develop the national industry system in a way that facilitates and enhances doing business in the sector, and contributes to creating Economically viable opportunities to support the local product.
This growth is in line with the (Make in the UAE) campaign launched by the Ministry to enhance the role of the private sector in the growth of national industries through legislative, regulatory and logistical capabilities and smart financing solutions, and support export capabilities to enter new markets, and the National Value Added Program provides an enabler and additional incentive for the private sector to benefit of these opportunities.
He said: "The defense industries in the UAE have been able to create important opportunities of economic feasibility to achieve growth, which enhances the national goals to increase the national added value of the industrial sector and supports progress in the objectives of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology within the (50 projects) and represents a fundamental pillar in building solid pillars for growth. He pointed out that all relevant government agencies, large national companies, investors, and manufacturers, including the Ministry of Defense, the Economic Balance Council and EDGE, contribute to strengthening the Ministry’s strategic plans to develop a sustainable national industrial system and enhance the UAE’s position as a global destination for innovation leadership and advanced industries. .
