A 36-story complex facility with commercial facilities, hotels, rental housing, etc. will be built in 2027 on the site of the Tokyu Department Store main store in Shibuya, Tokyo, which will be closed at the end of January next year.

According to it, the newly constructed complex will be 164 meters high, 36 floors above ground and 4 floors below ground, with commercial facilities on the lower floors and luxury hotels in Asia on the middle floors. ..



In addition, there are plans to build rental housing on the upper floors.



The redevelopment project is planned to be completed in 2027 jointly by Tokyu, Tokyu Department Store, and a real estate development company that has worked on "GINZA SIX".



Rina Sugimoto, chief of Tokyu's Shibuya Development Division, said, "I would like to utilize the customer service and DNA that I have cultivated in department stores in new facilities."
