The new brewery was built by major beer manufacturer Sapporo Beer at a complex in Ebisu, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, at a cost of approximately 1.7 billion yen.

This brewery can produce 130 kiloliters of beer a year, and visitors can watch beer being made up close through glass, and there is also a bar where you can drink the beer once it's made.



In Ebisu, the predecessor company of the manufacturer set up a beer brewing facility and began selling beer in 1890, and the brand name became the origin of the name of the station and area, but due to problems in expanding the factory, it was closed in 1988. It has been closed since 2011, and it has been approximately 36 years since beer production resumed here.



The manufacturer is expecting 250,000 visitors a year, and hopes to expand sales of beer, whose tax rate has been lowered following the liquor tax reform last October.
