As for the reasons for job-hopping, 63.7% of the interviewees believed that personal development space was limited and promotion was difficult, and 53.8% of the interviewees were pursuing better salary treatment.

Regarding the result of job-hopping, 54.3% of the respondents believe that job-hopping has advantages and disadvantages for personal career development.

According to the survey, 93.1% of the interviewees admitted that they had considered changing jobs. Among them, 43.6% of the interviewees indicated that it was about 2-3 years, and 29.2% of the interviewees indicated that it was about 4-5 years.

In addition, 7.2% of the respondents said they could change jobs at any time, and only 6.9% said they would not change jobs.

  26-year-old Yang Tong (pseudonym) entered a research institution after graduating from graduate school last year, but within a year, she chose to quit.

Talking about the reasons for the job-hopping, she felt that she had not considered her career direction clearly. “Last year, because of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, the job search plan was forced to be postponed. I became very anxious, so I immediately signed a contract when I had an opportunity, without considering whether it was really suitable for me."

After arriving at the job position, Yang Tong began to realize the problem, "Every day's work is very random, there is no clear work plan, often called by the leaders, but the work ability has not improved, and the work is very repressive."

In the end she chose to resign and quit.
