According to the survey, for a comfortable stay, 34% of respondents need an apartment from 80 to 100 square meters. m, 31% will be enough 50-70 sq. m. Area from 110 to 140 sq. m. 16% of Russians would like to own. At the same time, every tenth person (10%) dreams of an apartment measuring over 150 square meters. m. Interestingly, almost the same number of respondents (9%) would be satisfied with an apartment measuring 40 square meters. m.

In addition, 37% of Russians specified that they would like to live in low-rise buildings - from five to nine floors, 27% - in their own house or townhouse with a plot. Almost every fourth (24%) chose an apartment building with up to 16 floors. 8% consider life in a 30-story building comfortable, and only 4% of respondents like high-rise buildings.

If we talk about social infrastructure, 24% of respondents put clinics and medical centers located within walking distance from home in first place. Almost equal numbers - 21 and 19% - chose kindergartens and schools. The need for close proximity to shopping centers was noted by 14%. Shops, cafes and restaurants in the area are important for 8% of Russians. Fans of theaters, museums and galleries turned out to be 4%. Concert venues and cinemas took last place in the ranking (1%).

22% of respondents believe that their dream apartment should be located in the city center, and 19% - near the park. Another 16% would like to live in close proximity to a river, pond or reservoir, and 14% would like to live outside the city. Only 13% of respondents find it important that their apartment is close to their place of work. The remaining 16% have not yet decided where they want to live.

A metro station is the most important criterion for transport accessibility when choosing a place to live, 38% answered this way. Surface city routes are important for 18%, an extensive road network - 16%, parking space - 12%. 5% prioritize suburban traffic, 2% prioritize car sharing coverage. For 9%, transport accessibility does not matter.

In addition, Russians indicated that the road from home to work should not take much time: 36% - 10-25 minutes, 30%

- 25-40 minutes, 18% - less than 10 minutes. Only a small part of the survey participants (12%) would be happy with a 40-60 minute journey, and only 4% would be willing to travel more than an hour from home to their place of work.
