Yen exchange rate modest price change September 10 18:40
On the 10th, the Tokyo foreign exchange market and the yen exchange rate were slightly moving against the dollar.
The yen exchange rate as of 5:00 pm was 12 yen weaker than the 9th, which was 1 dollar = 106.5 yen to 7 yen.
Against the euro, 61 yen weaker than the 9th was 1 euro = 125.33 yen to 37 yen.
The euro was 19 dollars per euro = 1.1818 to 19 dollars.
Market officials said, "At the end of September, it was announced that the indoor operation of restaurants in New York City would be lifted, so there was a movement to buy some dollars in hopes of a recovery in the US economy. It was a prudent deal tonight, with many investors wanting to see how the European Central Bank's board of directors will respond."
