The government extracted suspicious cases of high-priced housing transactions over 900 million won nationwide and looked at the actual transaction details. As a result, more than one-third of them were found to violate the provisions of expedient laws and loan regulations, and the National Tax Service and financial authorities initiated a detailed investigation.

Some savings banks and financial companies specializing in loans were found to bypass the LTV regulation, and the financial authorities decided to apply the same loan restrictions to these loans.

The government real estate special judicial police, which has been in operation since February this year, investigated real estate crimes such as fixing house prices and illegal transactions in subscription bankbooks and filed 30 cases.

On the 26th, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Financial Supervisory Service, and the National Police Agency announced the results of the actual real estate transaction investigation and criminal investigation at the'Real Estate Market Inspection Ministers' Meeting.

The Real Estate Market Misconduct Response Team of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport conducted an investigation into actual transactions on 1,705 abnormal transactions whose funding source was unclear or suspected of illegal donations among the nationwide high-priced housing transactions reported from December last year to February this year. We screened 600 cases (35.2%) of illegal activities such as violations of the loan regulations and title trusts and reported them to relevant authorities such as the National Tax Service.

Among them, 555 cases in which tax evasion has occurred, such as expedient donations through relatives and misappropriation of corporate funds, have been thoroughly verified by the National Tax Service.

The National Tax Service plans to initiate a tax audit on suspected tax evasion suspects whose funding sources and repayment capabilities are unclear among the data notified of suspected tax evasion cases.

There are 37 cases of suspicion of violating the loan regulations, such as using the loan amount to purchase a home that does not suit its intended purpose after receiving a corporate loan or business loan.

The financial authorities plan to check for violations of the loan regulations for suspected cases of non-compliance with the loan regulations, and take measures to recover the loan if the loan is found to be useful differently from the purpose of use.

Police investigations are underway on eight suspected name trusts that illegally borrowed someone's name while doing real estate transactions.

In addition, the response team found 211 cases of violations of the'Real Estate Transaction Reporting Act', such as false reporting of the contract date, and notified the local government in charge to impose a fine.

Currently, the Response Team is conducting a high-intensity actual transaction planning survey in overheated areas in the metropolitan area such as Songpa, Gangnam, and Yongsan in Seoul and Gwangmyeong and Guri, Gyeonggi-do.

In Songpa, Gangnam, and Yongsan, transactions suspected of evading the land transaction permit system are the subject of major investigation, and the Response Team plans to closely track transactions with unknown sources of funding, such as purchasing ten houses.

The results of the real estate crime investigation conducted by the Response Team since its inception in February of this year were also disclosed on this day.

The response team said that a total of 30 cases (34 people) were filed for criminal charges, of which 15 cases were sent to the prosecution.

Currently, 395 cases are being investigated.

Among the 30 cases reported, 13 cases (11 persons) induced house price fixing through postings on a banner or an internet cafe, and 5 cases (8 persons) refused joint brokerage with non-members by official brokers. There was.

There were 9 cases (12 people) who won disguised move-in or fraudulent apartment supply, and 3 cases (3 people) brokered or advertised real estate without being a real estate agent.

The response team explained that the number of targets for investigation could increase up to 26 as the investigation into the fraudulent subscription case, which took place in the apartment special supply system, continues.

From the 21st of this month, as the regulation on false and exaggerated advertisements on the Internet by public brokers has been greatly strengthened, the Response Team will actively monitor advertisements for Internet properties with the Korea Appraisal Service Report Center and the Korea Internet Advertising Foundation, which is an Internet advertisement monitoring agency, and investigate if necessary. This is the policy.
