Sultan bin Ali Al Owais Real Estate Company has confirmed that the company's tenants in Dubai are also covered by the exemption from the value of the rent for one and a half months, in addition to all the emirates of the country in which the company has rental portfolios.

This came in response to inquiries by "Emirates Today" about the exclusion of Sharjah only.

The company’s CEO, Halima Al Owais, explained that the exemption that the company announced to its tenants at last for a period of 45 days, includes the company’s rental portfolio of 2,600 housing units.

Al Owais added that the exemption came as a humanitarian initiative aimed at relieving tenants and supporting government agencies in applying preventive and precautionary measures to counter the spread of the new Corona virus, especially with regard to encouraging staying in homes to preserve the safety and health of members of society.

She pointed out that the company's philosophy is based first on long-term rental ethics, as its main focus is on retaining tenants.

Al Owais mentioned that the private sector in the Emirates has enjoyed and still has facilities that are not available in any other country, pointing out that most companies started small and grew and expanded in their business, until they became giant economic entities at the local and international levels.
