Today, Thursday, the Palestinian Authority ordered hotels in the occupied West Bank to stop receiving tourist delegations after four people were suspected of contracting the Corona virus in Bethlehem.
The Palestinian Ministry of Tourism said, "It was decided to stop receiving tourist delegations in all hotels and governorates of the country, starting from Friday."
Palestinian health officials said they were checking whether four employees of a hotel in Bethlehem had been infected by tourists who were guests at the hotel.
Police cordoned off the hotel as the authorities awaited the results of laboratory tests. A large number of tourists wore masks in Bethlehem on Thursday wearing masks while visiting the church.
