The funeral hall of Severance Hospital in Sinchon, Seoul where the bodies of eight victims were enshrined, and the burial place of five of them.

As the funeral procession began in earnest, mourners such as family, relatives, and friends continued to walk into the night.

Families who had lost their precious sons, daughters, grandchildren and granddaughters first burst into tears, and acquaintances who had lost long-time friends also bowed their heads to comfort each other.

In addition to Sinchon Severance Hospital, it is known that more than 10 hospitals in Seoul and the metropolitan area have mortuaries, including 2 people at Seoul National University Hospital, 5 people at Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital, and 2 people at Boramae Hospital in Seoul.

As the number of wounded continues to increase, the Itaewon disaster has resulted in a total of 307 casualties.

As of 11 p.m. yesterday (31st), 155 people were dead and 152 people were injured.

The identification of all 155 people who died was completed as the identity of the woman, who had not been identified until the end, was confirmed as a Korean in her 40s.

Thirty people were seriously injured and 122 people were lightly injured.

In particular, this accident made it even more pitiful that six teenage middle and high school students died and five were injured.

As there are still over 30 seriously injured, the possibility that the number of victims will rise further cannot be completely ruled out.
