The man who got under the parked car and deliberately cut the brake line was caught by the police, and it turned out to be the mistress of the owner's wife.

According to the Pohang Nambu Police Station today (13th), the incident occurred on the 17th of April while the car owner A was having a meeting with his acquaintances.

The scene where someone went under Mr. A's car, which was parked around 2 am that day, and stayed there for about 5 minutes was caught on CCTV.

At that time, the parking lot manager, who was looking at the CCTV screen, saw this and told Mr. A that it would be dangerous to bring a car. and reported it to the police.

As a result of the police investigation, it was confirmed that the man B in the CCTV was a person who had an internal relationship with the wife of the car owner A for 3 years, and secretly followed Mr. A on the day of the incident and committed the crime.

B is known to have stated in the police investigation, "I drank alcohol and committed a crime accidentally."

Person A claimed that Mr. B intended to kill him, and the police also conducted an investigation focusing on the attempted murder.

However, the police could not find any clues to apply the attempted murder charge in Mr. B's cell phone forensics, call history, text messages, insurance purchases, and traffic lines, and he did not find any circumstance of collusion with Mr. A's wife.

In the end, the police completed a four-month investigation last month and handed over Mr. B to the prosecution on charges of 'special property damage', and the trial is scheduled to be held at the Pohang Branch of the Daegu District Court on the 21st.

Regarding this, Mr. A said, "If an accident had to occur while driving a vehicle with damaged brakes, should the person be punished for attempted murder? The place where the vehicle was parked is a steep downhill road, so if you drove the car, a major accident would have occurred." Since then, I have been living anxiously, feeling life-threatening every day, and I am unable to work."
