▲ Voice phishing collection book arrested at the scene

It is known that a citizen who was looking for a job to do a part-time delivery job reported a suspected voice phishing crime to the police.

According to the Gyeonggi Anyang Bay Police Station on the 27th (today), citizen A, who works as a quick delivery worker, found out about a part-time job delivering goods through an internet job advertisement on the 23rd of last month.

Mr. A contacted the company and was told that it was "It is not difficult and it is a mobile phone billing company."

The company explained to Mr. A that there is no set schedule for commuting to and from work, and he can earn 200,000 to 400,000 won per day if he only performs the tasks instructed.

It was a simple job, but the pay was high, so Mr. A decided to start working right away.

However, the work supervisor delivered somewhat suspicious instructions to Mr. A, saying, "Wear a suit and use a pseudonym." In addition, "When you arrive at the appointed place, do not move until additional instructions are given", "Personal information during work You must never say it."

Mr. A also informed the police that he had decided to receive the 'payment for goods' in front of Gwanak Station on Line 1 in Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.

The police, who were waiting at the scene, caught Mr. B, a man in his 30s who came to hand money to Mr. A.

As a result of the investigation, it was found that Mr. B was a voice phishing cash collector.

On the same day, it was investigated that Mr. B was arrested at the scene while trying to collect 35 million won from the voice phishing victim and deliver 3 million won of that to Mr.

The police confiscated all 35 million won from Mr. B and returned it to the victim.

Anyang Manan Police Station will select Reporter A as a 'Phishing Keeper' and deliver a letter of appreciation.
