It occasionally happens that criminals impersonate national security agencies for fraud, seriously endangering the legitimate rights and interests of the people and property security, and can easily affect the law enforcement authority and credibility of national security agencies.

Recently, based on clues reported by 12,339 people, the national security agency uncovered a typical case of fraud using forged official documents of the national security agency.

There is something fishy about the "red-headed documents"

"Hello boss, we have a new project to invest in national assets, with high investment returns and a red-headed document from the Ministry of National Security as a guarantee, absolutely rest assured!" Not long ago, Mr. Li, a citizen who lives in a southern city, received a WeChat message.

Subsequently, a picture of a document stamped with the bright red official seal of "Ministry of State Security of the People's Republic of China" also appeared in the dialog box.

How could a red-headed document from the Ministry of National Security with sensitive content be circulated online?

How can national security agencies easily endorse private business activities?

Mr. Li noticed something fishy and felt that the matter was of great importance, so he decisively reported to the local national security agency for verification.

Show off, cheat and step on the red line

The national security agency quickly carried out work based on the clues of the report, "uncovered" those involved in spreading this "red-headed document", took criminal coercive measures in accordance with the law, and promptly blocked the spread of the forged "red-headed document".

According to the person involved, this "red-headed document" was purely forged, and the investment project was fictitious, and its purpose was to defraud money.

Currently, the case is still under further investigation.

Official documents, certificates, and seals are important credentials for state agencies to administer according to law. Forging official documents from national security agencies is an illegal and criminal act. Using this to defraud is a "red line" that cannot be touched and will be severely punished by law.

  Be alert to suspicious situations

National security agencies have a systematic and strict management system for announcing and informing the public of relevant matters. National security agency police officers have standardized legal procedures for performing official duties and always exercise their powers and perform their duties in strict accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

In their daily work and life, if the general public encounters various types of suspicious "red-headed documents" that are spread and forwarded or people who engage in illegal activities under the banner of national security agencies, they must keep their eyes open, stay vigilant, take the initiative to verify, and do not trust them easily. Avoid falling into various traps and scams, and prevent illegal infringement of property and rights.
