Soccer JFL's Suzuka Point Getters announced that the deadline for the transfer of 55-year-old Kazu and Tomoyoshi Miura, former Japanese national football team, has expired.

Suzuka Point Getters, based in Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, announced on the 16th that the deadline for Miura's transfer has expired.



Last season, Miura scored two goals in 18 league games with the JFL Suzuka Point Getters, breaking the JFL's oldest scorer record at 55 years and 259 days.



Looking back on last season, Miura commented, "This one year of fighting with everyone has been very fulfilling and has become a great asset for my football life. The people of Mie Prefecture, including Suzuka City, who cheered me on. I would also like to express my deepest gratitude."



Regarding the future, he commented, "I have chosen a new challenge in the new world. I will do my best with the kindness I received from everyone in Suzuka in my heart."



The new affiliation has not been announced yet, but considering that he has received offers from teams in the second division of Portugal, Miura told reporters on the 15th, "We will announce the transfer destination soon. I think it can be done. I think it will take less than a week."
