Skövde started the SHE season by knocking out Önnered last week and today was the second straight victory.

But it was deep inside.

Away team Skuru led 14-10 at halftime and had 20-16 with less than a quarter to go.

But Skövde refused to give up and equalized at 23-23 with four and a half minutes left.

With the score 24-24, and seven seconds left on the clock, Skövde took a time-out when they had the chance to decide in the last attack of the match.

"Best winning goal in career"

With a delicious Japanese, Elma Örtemark scored the winning goal 25-24, with only four seconds left on the clock, and wild cheers erupted in Skövde Sports Hall.

- There are a lot of emotions right now.

It was nice that it went in.

Skuru is a great team so it's a really hard win for us.

It's probably the nicest winning goal I've scored in my career, says match winner Örtemark to Skaraborg's Allehanda.

Forsberg became the team's top scorer with six goals and was the one who equalized the game twice in the final stages.

The win was the team's second in a row, while Skuru suffered its second loss in as many games.

Footnote:

A "Japanese" is a technical trick performed by a player passing over an opponent to a teammate who catches the ball in the air and then shoots.

Most often, the pass comes from a nine-meter player to a wing player.
