After three years, it's time for the Women's Crowns to play the A-VM again.

A tournament that was supposed to be played in January, but was moved to August due to the covid outbreak last winter.

The move meant that Sweden took over Russia's place in the tournament after Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February.

Now the Women's Crowns have loaded all summer, and Josefin Bouveng is ready for the match against Denmark in the premiere.

- We had a good training session this morning.

They try to prepare for this tournament all summer.

The closer it gets, it's important to tap into and use the adrenaline you get as energy and stay focused on what you have to do.

Even though Sweden entered the tournament as a reserve, the goal is high.

- We have set a clear goal that we will make it to the quarter-finals, and also talked about the chances of winning this group.

Just today, we have set ourselves the goal of really setting a foothold in this first match.

I hope we can do it against Denmark and get a good start to the tournament.

The women's crowns are in a generational change, and the squad is young.

Something that Bouveng believes can benefit the team.

- We have many young and new debutants.

Even myself in the WC.

It doesn't feel like we have any obstacles, we only see opportunities.

It's a very wonderful energy we have in the team, I hope we can use it.

The premiere will be an important match for the Women's Crowns, where Denmark is an opponent Sweden has to watch out for.

- I think it will be tough.

Denmark is at home and hopes for a large crowd.

They have been looking forward to this as much as we have so it will be tough and tight, but I hope we can win.
