An event commemorating just one year since the opening of the Tokyo Olympics was held at the National Stadium on the 23rd, and a ceremony using the latest technology was presented so that people with disabilities could enjoy it.

The event was held at the National Stadium, where the opening ceremony was held, to commemorate the 23rd, just one year after the opening of the Tokyo Olympics.

At the entrance parade of the ceremony that reproduced the opening ceremony, Governor Koike and the tournament mascots "Miraitowa" and "Someity" led the boxing women's feather-class gold medalist, Sena Irie, and other athletes and sports boys who were active in the tournament. Approximately 1000 people, including children, marched while waving to the audience.

At this ceremony, the "universal design" technology that everyone can enjoy, which was not available because the tournament a year ago was unattended, was shown.

People who were physically handicapped and could not visit the venue participated in the parade using their own alter ego called avatars and were displayed on the large monitor at the venue.

The venue was visited by 15,000 spectators, and I enjoyed seeing the ingenious ceremonies that could not be realized at the actual performance of the Tokyo Olympics.
