Sharjah coach, Romanian Olario Cosmin, denied the authenticity of the reports that confirmed that he had reached an agreement with the Saudi Al-Ahly administration, to train Al-Raqi next season.
He said in a press statement: "This news is completely false. I did not negotiate with Al-Ahly of Saudi Arabia or other clubs, currently with Sharjah, and my full focus with the club until the end of the season."
Media reports in Saudi Arabia had confirmed that Cosmin would coach Al-Ahly next season, and that the club's management had reached with the Romanian coach on the details of his new contract.
He added, "I am a professional coach, and it is logical, after the expiration of my contract with Sharjah, that I look for other offers, but I will remain with Sharjah until they expel me."
