Al-Ahly scored two goals in the last minutes of the match (social networking sites)

Al-Ahly team was crowned champion of the Egypt Cup for the 2022-2023 season for the 39th time in its history, after defeating its traditional rival, Zamalek, with two unanswered goals - today, Friday - in the final match of the tournament that was held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

The first half ended in a goalless draw, as the two teams failed to take advantage of the few attempts they had in front of the goals.

In the second half, Al-Ahly was able to score the lead goal in the 84th minute through Imam Ashour.

Then Mohamed Magdy Afsha added the second goal in the fourth minute of stoppage time for the match.

This was the first final match of the tournament to be held outside Egypt.
