Elvira Öberg went out on the anchor route as ninth, almost two and a half minutes from leading Norway.
But she climbed all the way to fourth place after overtaking Russia and Germany at the end.
She won the distance by a full 16 seconds margin.
- I was told that it was only barely 30 seconds up to Germany and it is a tough course so anything is possible.
I do what I can from the start to give it all a little chance.
I went very, very hard from the start of my distance and had to pay a little for it at the end of the sprint lap, says Elvira Öberg and continues:
- I am very pleased with my efforts today.
Above all, that I dare to shoot.
That it shoots out a shot in the lying I would still say that is okay.
National team coach Johannes Lukas was not the mixed relay.
- It was obviously not a good relay for us and I am not absolutely with the day, he says.
Expert Helena Ekholm thinks it was okay, apart from the two shooting accidents.
- There are two shooting series that ruin this relay.
Otherwise, it's great ride series and good riding, she says.
