It is understood that, including Sun Yingsha, the school has now out of 4 table tennis world champions.
On August 12, the reporter met Sun Yingsha’s enlightenment coach Chen Xiaolin in the training hall. Chen Xiaolin said that it was in this arena that Sun Yingsha started her own table tennis 16 years ago.

Sun Yingsha was five and a half years old when she first arrived. Before she went to elementary school, she came to this arena and was brought by her mother.

Our school’s table tennis team was established in 1959 and has a history of 62 years. At that time, a teacher named Han Fukui in our school was an ordinary physical education teacher. At that time, the table tennis team was formed on the condition that it was available. As I can imagine, they are all the concrete tables that I wiped by my own hands.
[Explanation] After more than 60 years of development, Heping West Road Primary School has become a key table tennis primary school in China. Clubs at all levels sent more than one hundred outstanding table tennis players.

Our school has trained 4 world champions including Sun Yingsha. In addition, we have also sent 9 national-level outstanding table tennis players to the national team.

Our training adopts a stepped (training method). We now have three team coaches.
