Les Bleus du volley achieved a new feat on Saturday in the final of the Tokyo Olympics by winning against Russia in a legendary game (3-2).

Earvin Ngapeth, impressed throughout the meeting, and his partners won the Olympic gold medal for the first in the history of French volleyball.

The French volleyball players became Olympic champions by beating the Russian favorites 3 to 2 (25-23, 25-17, 21-25, 21-25, 15-12) in the final on Saturday at the Tokyo Games.

It is the first Olympic title of French volleyball, which brings to the Blues their 32nd medal of these Olympic Games in the wake of their star Earvin Ngapeth.
