Syria team summons defender Al-Ittihad Alexandria to the Emirates camp

The coach of the Syrian national team, Tunisian coach Nabil Maaloul, has summoned Al-Ittihad’s Alexandrian defender Amr Al-Midani to join the camp of the "Nusour Qassioun" team, which is currently in Dubai, and runs until May 28, in preparation for the completion of the second phase of the double Asian qualifiers qualifying for the 2022 World Cup, Asia 2023.

The Syrian Football Association said, on its official page on the social networking site “Facebook,” that “Al-Midani will fly to Syria, and then to the Emirates to join the external camp, which started last Friday, in preparation for the resumption of the continental qualifiers.”

The Syrian Federation added: "The camp started with a morning session in the hotel's gymnasium, and the second evening at the Dubai Club Stadium for People of Determination, in a list that includes Ibrahim Alamah, Khaled Ibrahim on the goalkeeping level, Ahmed Al-Saleh, Hussein Jaweed, Ala Al-Din Daly, Muhammad Anz and Youssef Al-Hamwi, Moamen Naji and Muhammad Rayhaniyyah, with the rest of the players joining later.

In January 2020, the Alexandrian Federation succeeded in contracting with the Syrian international, Amr Al-Midani, for a contract that extends for a season and a half, in light of the player's experiences and professionalism in clubs the size of Egyptian Pyramids and Kuwaiti Kuwait, in addition to his professional experience in both the Iraqi and Emirati leagues.
