After several canceled competitions due to bad weather, Swiss Lenzerheide today offered sunny and clear weather when it was time for team rallies.

The branch in which Sweden took a surprising silver in during the World Cup.

And this time it was again Norway that put an end to Swedish celebrations.

Norway beat Sweden in the semifinals and in the so-called small final they lost to Austria.

Disqualification in the decision

Sweden and Great Britain were the only two teams that needed to qualify to reach the quarterfinals.

Sweden won the qualifier 3-1 and advanced to a quarter final against Switzerland.

It was bad out there before the last heat between Kristoffer Jakobsen and Semyel Bissig when Switzerland led 2-1.

Bissig started the race best but not far from the finish the Swiss branched out and Jakobsen snatched the victory.

Norway then beat the United States and thus became Sweden's semi-final opponent.

Just like in the World Cup final, the neighbors in the west were a bit sharper even today.

Mistakes in the small final

Sweden got off to a tough start.

Moa Boström Müssener did not manage to keep up with the Norwegian pace and finished 93 percent behind.

But Kristoffer Jakobsen equalized immediately after when he pulled away early and with a stable ride he kept the lead all the way to the finish.

Sara Hector followed up with another victory, despite a bad start.

But in the last heat, Leif Kristian Nestvold-Haugen was the fastest and beat Sweden.

In the small final, there were a few misses too many when both Sara Hector and Mattias Rönngren made mistakes and Austria took third place.

Norway won the final against Germany.
