Several skiers suffered serious cold injuries after the long race in Switzerland last weekend.
Before the competitions in Falun - where it will be about 15 degrees below zero - Calle Halfvarsson received questions from Aftonbladet about his worst cold injuries.
It was not about fingers and toes.
- It was in Finland once.
Then it was really cold and I did not freeze on fingers or feet but I froze on another thing, haha, he says to the newspaper.
He refers to the body part between the legs.
- That was the damn thing I've been through.
Then I thought about whether I should stop skiing.
It was so damn good, he says and laughs.
It happened during a competition.
- I was barely getting to the finish line.
It was unbelievably cold, he says.
