In a post on Instagram, Sandra Näslund showed her comeback on the ski slope after the knee injury she sustained in November.

“Probably happiest on the slopes today.

A big step to start skiing and the hope of running the World Cup feels a little closer even if there is a bit left ", she writes.

Näslund is currently rehab in Åre while the rest of the national team is in Germany.

- She has had to try skiing a little easy.

From what I have heard, that test went well.

She will continue to drive with the rehab team in Åre until we get home.

Then we meet up in Idre and continue to test, says coach Michael Forslung.

Between 11-13 February, the cross-country World Cup will be decided at home in Idre and it is of course hoped that Näslund will be in the starting field, even if it is currently uncertain.

- The tests so far have gone well and the rehab has gone well, but she can get a setback tomorrow just as easily, it is impossible to say at present, says Forslung.
