An exhibition will be held in Tokyo that displays panels that describe the thoughts of Yuzuru Hanyu, a figure skating player who was also affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, and costumes worn during performances on the theme of the earthquake. I did.

Hanyu, a native of Sendai, suffered a disaster while practicing when he was in the first year of high school, and his home and the links he was practicing were broken.

Before the 10th anniversary of the earthquake in March next year, when I visited the panel and the disaster area that spelled out Hanyu's thoughts at that time to give him an opportunity to think about the earthquake again and raise awareness of disaster prevention. An exhibition of about 80 items such as photographs and costumes worn during the performance on the theme of the earthquake will be held in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo from the 16th.

The exhibition was opened to the press on the 15th before the event, and the panel of photos taken by Hanyu himself at the evacuation shelter and the photos of visiting the area around Sendai Airport, which was heavily damaged, said, "Our living. I felt the regret that the town I was in was collapsing. "

In addition, he looked up at the sky on the night of the power outage immediately after the disaster, and said, "We are in a pitch black state. The stars were shining brilliantly even though we could not recover at all. I felt it was the light of hope." Also, at the PyeongChang Olympics exhibition, there are also costumes based on white and black that I wore when I carried out a program called "Notte Stellata" which means "star of the sky" in Italian with the theme of that time. It is decorated.

This exhibition will be held from December 16th to next month 17th by advance reservation, and will be held all over the country after that.
