A new management team in Losc?

If all goes well on the ground, things are going on behind the scenes at the leader of Ligue 1. According to

L'Equipe

, a meeting takes place on Tuesday between Gérard Lopez, president of the club since 2017, and leaders of Elliott a fund investment fund that financed the buyout of Losc with a loan of around 130 million euros.

Except that the economic crisis affecting French football with the Mediapro bankruptcy will deprive Losc of part of the TV rights initially budgeted.

To this is added the lack of public in the stadiums which deprives the club of ticketing and sponsorship revenue.

Not to mention the little movement on the transfer window which prevented the northern club from selling more than expected.

It was difficult under these conditions to quickly repay the debt contracted with Elliott.

Olivier Létang instead of Lopez?

If a solution is not found, the investment fund could regain control of Losc by appointing a new management team.

Olivier Létang, passed through Reims, Paris and Rennes, could replace Lopez at the head of the club according to the sports daily.

On the other hand, nothing would change at the sporting level where Christophe Galtier and his staff are not threatened in this funny upheaval.
