The reason why several floorball clubs want Sweden to withdraw from the tournament is that they are worried about the players' health and the spread of infection.

Any quarantine is also mentioned as a reason.

- I have informed the union that I back the clubs to one hundred percent.

I understand the role of the clubs in this as they are responsible for the players and they have to put their health and activities first.

At the same time, you want to respect the national team activities.

I think it is difficult to motivate to carry out such a training tournament as it is anyway, says Krister Kalte, who is chairman of the association SSL, to Expressen.

The Swedish floorball association's general secretary Mikael Ahlelrup says that they are currently handling the issue.

- We also feel anxiety and we take everyone's concerns seriously.

That is why we handle the issue so carefully.

We talk to the SSL clubs, talk to Switzerland, with federal doctors and follow the development from FHM.

We can not only make a decision straight up and down, but we want to hear everyone involved and make an overall assessment, he says.

Finland has previously dropped out of the tournament, so Sweden would currently face the host nation Switzerland and the Czech Republic.
